Ear Surgery
Ear surgery (otoplasty) "pins" back prominent ears. The procedure is commonly performed on children 4-14 years old.
- Length: 2-3 hours.
- Recovery: Patients may return to work or school in 5-7days. Strenuous activity such as sports may be resumed after 1-2 months.
- Results: Usually permanent; repeated surgeries may be required to correct recurring protrusion.
