Restylane
Restylane* and other dermal fillers such as Hylaform and Captique are hyaluronic acid that is used to add volume to fine lines and wrinkles. Injected into the muscle beneath the wrinkle, dermal fillers plump the muscle to smooth out the wrinkle.
- Length of procedure: 10 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the treatment.
- Recovery: Immediate. Patients being treated with dermal fillers such as Restylane should monitor their activities for 48 hours.
- Results: Smoother, younger-looking skin, reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. Botox® treatments can help to prevent future lines and wrinkles.
* Restylane is the only non-animal derived hyaluronic acid dermal filler.
